Dimming The Brightness of Your Phone's Screen

Turn Off Your Phone's AR Function When Targetting a Pokemon Monster

After doing those two settings above, you still able to conserve your smartphone battery power by turning off Pokemon Go's AR (Augmented Reality) function. This way will turn your phone’s camera off and you'll not see a Pidgey perched, but you could save more battery life. Turning off the AR function can be done when you targetting at a Pokemon, and then the AR toggle shows up at the upper of your right side on the screen. There you can toggle it to the left.
