iPhone camera  is able of taking amazing photo. But you need to understand your tools for creating amazing things with them. Basically you’ll know how to use iPhone camera to take snaps with it. But for a maximum results, here we provide some oft-forgotten tips.

1. Maximize Your iPhone Camera with Settings

Most iPhone users rarely go to the menu Settings> Photos & Camera. While on the Photos application you can organize and arrange your iPhone camera. For example, the Photo Stream mode, iCloud Photo Sharing, Photo Library iCloud, Photo Stream, summarize Photos and you can change your storage settings for the pictures captured.

You should check two settings for Camera mode; they are Grid mode and Video Record mode. To find a straight line, you need the Grid mode. However, Grid mode is rarely used when shooting mediocre. On the Record Video, you can adjust the size of the resolution. You can opt between 2 sizes, 1080p and 720p. If you are an iPhone 6 user, you will find two settings Slo-Mo and 3 video modes.

2. Take advantage of all the features available in the iPhone Camera App

iPhone Camera app has many features, and you can access all of these features quickly and while looking the target object you are going to capture. At the top of the camera screen, there are 4 icons features, i.e. Flash, HDR, Timer and replacement icon next to the camera.

At the bottom you can set up multiple take picture modes. The features on the bottom are Slo-Mo, Time-Lapse, Video, Square, Photo, and Panorama. 3 points icon on the bottom is a Live Filter feature that serves to process the image and show the effect looks before the picture taken.

3. Make Sure the Photo is Focus When Shooting an Object

iPhone 4s and the new iPhones actually have a face detection focus feature. If the focus is the face, it will be very useful function. However, what if the object to be taken is not the face? When you want to take picture of an object, you can also specify a focus on the desired part.

To provide focus, press the part that is focused and wait until a yellow box appears in the area. If you use iOS 9, you can use exposure settings and features a flexible focus mode. To do that, press the screen until the sun icon appears. Then swipe down or up if you want to change the exposure of the photo. This camera feature will make the photograph exposure display brighter on the top or dark on the bottom, but focus on the object that you specify.

4. Closer to the object, More Focus and More Specific

If the target image is not good, it means you''re not close enough to the object. Try to be closer to the object to be captured and make sure there are no distractions. You can also combine the rules of thirds method in this technique. But it takes time to obtain better results, but it does not hurt to try, right?

5. Burst Mode

There are certain moments that cannot be repeated. Therefore, you can use burst mode (concatenation mode). To do so press and hold the shutter button on your iPhone screen to take pictures of an object repeatedly. After that, you can choose the best frames and delete the rest so that your iPhone''s memory is not full.

6. Don''t Too Often Taking Pictures with Vertical Mode (Upright)!

Usually iPhone users take pictures with vertical mode. But it is better to take pictures with landscape / horizontal position mode. By taking picture with the landscape mode, you can process the image for many purposes easily. For example, adjust the position of the image on the blog’s article, crop with the 16: 9 image so that the result is more fit, or use a box mode (1: 1), that is not too tight. In photographing scenery, landscape mode can also help you to more freely to concoct an object more broadly and widely.

7. Take the Advantage of Panorama Photo mode While on The Go

You can take the advantage of a panorama photo mode on your iPhone when you want to take pictures while on the go.

8. Use Black and White Mode on The Right Moment

If you shoot with a normal color mode in the location or room with a red, blue, or other color light source, it sometimes makes the shooting less attractive. At those moments, you can use Live Filters mode, then select the effect Tonal or Mono. Black and White effect is also very suitable to utilize the sad situation, rain, sun, and others. You can make experiments with black and white mode in many situations.

Conclusion

Photographing is about perpetuating a memory, storing documentation of a work and publishing the object you see so that many people can see too. Take the advantage of the camera in your iPhone as well and as maximal as possible, and enjoy the results of your work with friends or family!
